Strategy/Usage[]
Normal Form[]
This form is useless by design. Similarly to the other Cats from Tales of the Nekoluga, this Cat is not meant to be used until it evolves.
Evolved Form[]
Tesalan Pasalan is one of the heaviest-hitting units in the game when it comes to both general enemies and bosses, due in no small part with its extreme range and DPS. In addition to this, it does enough critical damage to immediately destroy any metal enemy in the game, but the low critical chance of 10% is not to be relied on in this aspect, being more of a bonus in general use.
Its impressive offense is balanced with Single Target, making it pointless if a boss is protected by peon spam or constant support. Be sure to clear the path with long-ranged units, Wave units (e.g. Manic Macho Legs, Manic Jamiera Cat, Hermit Cat etc.) or the default Cat Cannon. Sometimes even its high range is unable to keep it safe, so think twice about bringing it in stages with LD/Wave/Surge enemies due to its extreme cooldown. Otherwise, on stages with little to no such threats, it will steamroll them when backed properly.
True Form[]
Lufalan Pasalan can be used on longer ranged enemies that it would previously be unable to reach and on the same enemies more safely; thanks to its increased range, it can also outrange enemies like Crazed Bird Cat, Manic Flying Cat, Dogumaru, Director Kurosawah and The Perfect Cyclone.
It also gains a 10% boost in critical chance (for a total chance of 20% per hit), which gives it slightly more consistency against Metals but even then the slow attack rate and low critical hit chance doesn't make it reliable against them, so it merely improves overall DPS. This improvement makes it easier for it to potentially exploit Metal Cyclone's very slow movement speed and slightly short range by landing a critical hit and obliterating Metal Cyclone immediately.
Talents[]
Defense Buff, Weaken Immune, and Surge Resist are nearly useless due to Lufalan's terrible survivability and the overly situational nature of the latter two. If you have boosted it with Catseyes, then the Attack Buff is easily the most useful talent, as it improves this unit's selling point, the already high damage, by up to 20%, resulting in a terrifying value of nearly 240,000 per hit at level 50! Similarly, Crit Chance Up increases overall DPS too, but by much less; in return, however, it makes Lufalan more consistent in case of Metal Enemies.

It seems like this one is a straw-hatted pirate of some kind. But we really can't be sure. Massive damage vs. one enemy. (Might Crit.) |

Trivia[]
- Among the Nekoluga family, his name Te(手/te)-coluga reflects that its hands are the parts that are abnormally long.
- Lufalan Pasalan is based on Monkey D. Luffy from the manga/anime One Piece, which is fitting, for Tecoluga's long arms are reminiscent of Luffy's own ability to stretch like rubber.
- This unit's critical attack is the most damaging attack for a Metal enemy and one of the highest damages possible on all traits.
- Tecoluga's appearance may be based on Tenaga, a type of yokai with long arms.
