Battleground[]

Strategy[]

The Shy Boys and St. Pigge the 2nd are the main threats, so focus on units that can counter them specifically. Area Attacks and anti-Red Cats is the main strategy to win this battle, though it can be beaten without anti-Reds. DO NOT BRING PIRATE CAT! If he knocks back the enemies in front, Nyandam will instantly kill all of your damage-dealers. Use Crazed Whale Cat to tank through Nyandam after the 6 Shy Boys die.

Since Dark Emperor Nyandam has a 2,200% buff on the 1♛ difficulty, and the peons are fast and annoyingly resilient, players should treat this level like they would Boogie Up (Insane). Spammable Area Attackers with high DPS, like Crazed UFO Cat and Paris Cat are needed in order to kill the peons ASAP and inflict as much damage as possible onto Nyandam. Bahamut Cat (unless in True Form) and Ururun Cat are both useless against Nyandam, as he kills them in one hit. Crazed Titan Cat or Jamiera Cat can survive a hit from him, so if player is using Titans, don't forget to kill the peons so they can hit Nyandam without being stalled.

Strategy 1[]

Lineup: Crazed Cat, Eraser Cat, Crazed Wall Cat, Sanzo Cat, Cameraman Cat, Maximum the Fighter, Can Can Cat, Crazed Whale Cat, iCat, Roe Cat

Notes:

  • Although Talents aren't required, some of them, such as Roe Cat's HP Talent and Can Can's Move Speed Up Talent are extremely helpful here.
  • The meatshields can be replaced with more anti-Red or anti-Floating Cats.

At the beginning, when the first B.B.Bunny is about to hit your base, send Maximum the Fighter. Maximum the Fighter should take a while to deal with the B.B.Bunnies, and with B.B.Bunny's generous cash drop, you should be able to level your Worker Cat quickly. The Ginger Snaches will usually deploy as soon as Maximum gets to the base, which are helpful to prevent him from triggering the boss wave too quickly. Send another Maximum whenever the one on field gets killed.

Once you've leveled your Worker Cat to 8 and have a fair amount of money (around 6,000¢), start to deploy everything you have, though be aware of your cash (though the support can easily fill this up), and prioritize Roe and iCat, as Roe will be a very solid wall and iCat makes easy work of the pushers. Deploy Cameraman if the Shy Boys give you any trouble, If you can get Roe to hit Nyandam, its weaken will allow much more cats to survive his blows, making the battle way easier.

Strategy 2 (4-Crown)[]

Stall with Zamboney and a few Li'l Erasers at the beginning. When the Ginger Snaches come out, send out a Dark Lazer by herself. By the time she gets to the enemy base, you should have a full wallet and level 8 Worker Cat. Once the boss spawns, let the Shy Boys get close to the Cat Base and send out Zamboney, Ururun, Valkyrie, Mina and Bahamut, in that order, fire the Cat Cannon to knockback the Ginger Snaches, and spawn meatshields whenever possible. Spawn Catdam when you have enough money; keeping him alive should be your upmost priority, as he outranges Dark Emperor Nyandam. The level essentially plays itself after all the Shy Boys are dead.

Strategy 3 (No Gacha + Courier)[]

Stall with Eraser / Crazed Wall Cat initially. Once the Ginger Snaches spawn, send out a Courier Cat to get rid of them. The Dual Walls should be enough to keep them in place while Courier chips them down. You should have a decently leveled Worker Cat and some money by this point, so once a Courier hits the enemy base, wait. When the Shy Boys get to the middle, spam everything. Use your Cat Cannon when you have the chance to reset Nyandam's attack animation, and the level should be easy.
