Leadfoot Drive is the fifth stage in Kombu Cape.
Leadfoot Drive is an oddity of a level, showcasing St. Pigge the 2nd , who has been largely absent from SoL as a proper enemy since some of the earliest chapters. The level is very quick to send out the enemies, beginning by sending out a few Owlbrows and some St Pigges and Pigges . Very soon after, Chickful A and Le'noir will come from the enemy base and move forward. Later, a second Chickful A and Le'noir will come to assist the first two.
This level, while simple on the surface, has several ways to be taken on. One of the biggest challenges of Leadfoot Drive is keeping the Le'noirs at bay. Due to the immense tankiness of the St. Pigges, who are buffed by an immense amount, it can be very difficult to gain cash and ground before the first Le'noir and Chickful A appear, therefore, a lot of the fighting will happen closer to your end of the stage.
One of the best strategies to tackle this stage is to abuse the standing range of Le'noir and Chickful A, as well as abuse the St. Pigges huge health pools and use Major Leaguer Cat(AKA Baseball Cat). For a fairly cheap cost, You can safely stack a lot of them on the St. Pigges and the effective LD range of Baseball Cat can be used to hit the Chickful A's and Le'noirs that are behind the St. Pigges, who can be easily stalled due to their relatively low damage. Once both Chickful A's have died, you can finish off the St. Pigges and fight the Le'noirs with whatever you like, preferably using Tin Cat to continuously knockback the Le'noirs if they get too close and you're feeling uncomfortable.
It's also recommended to use 3-4 stallers on this stage, as well as units such as Ururun Cat and Crazed Bahamut Cat (or ubers who can replace them such as Aphrodite) who can hit the Le'noirs and Chickful even while the St. Pigges are still alive if you aren't wholly confident in stacking an LD unit like Baseball Cat to get rid of them.
