Henry has a long distance attack, high health and relatively low damage, able to perma-freeze any unit caught in its AOE with near-perfect uptime. Henry's coverage is extremely wide, so getting units inside his large blindspot or breaking them from the freeze proves difficult without special tactics.
Strategy[]
Henry freezes your attackers by abusing your meatshields as stepping stones so other enemies could easily steamroll through them, making him a powerful support unit. He does have a minimum range, so if you can get your cats in a good position, you've basically already won. Another strategy is to lure him to the Cat Base, as not as many cats will be frozen due to LD units standing at their minimum effective range, and he doesn't inflict much damage to the base. If there's an opening, rushers like Awakened Bahamut Cat can deal massive damage to him, as his standing range is well within Henry's blindspot, although some other short-ranged units can also work, as long as they're fast enough. Do take note that Henry will still attack if there is something in his standing range, including his blindspot.
Units that are immune to freeze such as Li'l Eraser Cat are great against Henry. Use them even if you may not normally. These units aside, you might be able to use Curseblast on him just before he can attack, shutting down his ability for a few seconds and freeing any stuck units. Since Henry's time between attack is the same time as his freeze, that means with a small bit of freeze resist investment they are able to move forward. If you've unlocked the ability to Upgrade the Cat Base decorations then you can use the Thunderbolt style to add freeze resist to all your units.
Took 9 gap years before working up the courage to enroll in college. Hoping to major in nuclear physics to better control his particle beams, but dad wants him to study accounting.
A student who failed the university entrance exams 9 times. The peculiar ray of light he made while studying helped to stop the movement of the other students in the examination hall, but the examiners forced him to leave. Weak to parental pressure.
A Zombie, Floating, & Behemoth variant of Henry. He's a low-ranged support enemy with moderate health, high damage, 75% surge that can hit much further, and 100% chance to slow for 1.67 seconds.

Trivia[]
In the Japanese version, Henry is called Hikaru, a common Japanese name meaning "to shine; to give off light". This reference is not passed onto his English name.
According to a post from the official Battle Cats LINE account, his parents chose the name Hikaru because they wanted him to shine. Ironically, despite his weakness to parental pressure, he failed the university entrance exams 9 times in a row and eventually was killed in his 10th attempt.
Despite being male, Henry's appearance is that of a female anglerfish; males are much smaller and don't have lures.
However, his Japanese description mentions that he synthesized his lure himself as opposed to having it naturally.
