It has more health than an average Doge, though still considerably low compared to other Black enemies, and is fast in speed. Dragon Cat or Sexy Legs Cat can push it back easily, but Salon Cat is recommended for multiple Doge Darks. Another strategy is to use Weightlifter Cat, but Doge Darks can kill them easily alone, so be sure to back them up with other cats. Its attack power at 100% strength magnification is 2000 damage (single target, short range), but is usually spawned in groups. It is recommended you spam Wall Cat or other cheap cats, as it only attacks one cat at a time. Doge Dark also becomes very dangerous in later levels when its stats are multiplied, especially with 2-star, 3-star or 4-star levels, when their damage can exceed 75,000 per Doge Dark.
Doge Dark is not too much of a threat alone, but become increasingly annoying throughout Stories of Legend when they appear in swarms and are magnified in strength. In Star Ocean and Marco Po Road, Doge Dark is given a progressive strength buff.
They are very easy in groups of 2 or 3, but become very difficult in hordes and even more when buffed to an extent. They are hard in the first few sub-chapters, and then they after that, they should be fairly easy to kill. To kill larger hordes of Doge Darks, use strong area attackers and anti-Black cats.
