Disapproving Giant is the last stage in The Scratching Post.
This level is very similar to Thriller Bridge.
It is considered one of the hardest stages up to this point, even harder than the infamous preceding stage, Crunchy Pillar.
Cat line-up: 4 meatshields (Samba, Tank), Paris Cat, Dragon Cat, and try to have the rest of your line up as high-damage dealers.
Strategy: Stall Master A. with a Tank Cat spam. Get your wallet to at least level 7, and wait until you have a lot of money. Use a powerhouse to take care of Master A. Send all your cats out before THE SLOTH comes out. If they're at least level 20 then you should take care of all the support troops, and still be able to attack THE SLOTH. You should have a lot of money so always send in your Lizard Cat, and send your Paris Cat whenever you want, but ALWAYS send in your meatshields.
If you plan on using no items, spawn meatshields at the start to slow down the approach of the enemy units and to eventually max out your money and wallet. Once you have done that, spawn as many Long-Ranged or Multi-Target Units as you can. UFO Cat, Paris Cat, and Crazed Cat UFOs are very helpful. Keep defeating the peons and Otta-smack-u while dealing hits to the boss. Once the Boss dies, it's very easy. Just don't let the Otters stack up.
4-Star Strategy: I found this stage soooo much easier than Crunchy Pillar in 4 star difficulty. If you have catdam and a high level paris (mine is 40+14) then you should be able to do it. Stall in the beginning, jiangshi should be able to do this with some help every once in a while. Do this until you have around 10k, which is when you should get catdam and increase how many meatshields you're sending. Stall here until Master A. is dead, and then send everything except A. Bahamut. Ururun and a decent paris stack should be able to handle the otters and the other initial support enemies. Now wait for openings in the otters to send a. Bahamut to damage the sloth. Make sure the sloth isn't about to attack when you send a. Bahamut though. Deck/loadout/what cats you bring: almost required: Catdam, Ururun, 4 meatshields including Jiangshi, Paris, A. Bahamut
Optional: Ramen as a 5th meatshield
Boss snipe: Prisoner, Grandmaster, Mina (Use those if you are going to use the otters to snipe the boss or if you have extra spots in your lineup)
If you're confused, here is my lineup that I used: Catburger(ms), Samba(ms), Li'l Cat(ms), jiangshi(ms), Paris, Prisoner, Grandmaster, Catdam, A. Bahamut, Ururun
