Croakley is durable, has slow movement speed and a Long Distance attack with expansive reach. His damage is not that strong, but it is guaranteed to slow all cats for a minute, which may as well be certain death for units that aren't immune. To compensate for an attack of this caliber, Croakley has a massive blind spot and his standing range is well within it.
Strategy[]
Treat this enemy like Queen B, but with lower damage and a longer slow. If Croakley is alone, even the weakest of cats can defeat him. If he's paired with a more powerful enemy (like The Face or Berserkory in his debut stage), then Wave Attacks or Long-Distance attacks can be used to pick him off from a safe distance. Due to his blindspot, most units can simply enter it without much timing.
DO NOT give units the Resist Slow Talent solely to counter him, as Croakley's slow has 100% uptime even against slow-resistant cats. Slow Immunity, on the other hand, is a very useful asset against him.
eSports pro famous for rage-quitting during tournaments by using his tongue to hit the reset button. Guess that's one way to maintain a perfect win-loss ratio...
This frog is a pro fighting gamer famous for licking "play". When he's about to lose, he stretches his tongue out to hit "reset". Even in the face of a booing crowd, he's got guts, but when it comes to drinking alcohol, he can't do it.
A Starred Alien variant of Croakley. Has lower range, extremely low health, a Barrier with a breaking point of 65,000, and Warps back cats instead of slowing them down.

Trivia[]
His Japanese name, Kerosuke, contains kero, the Japanese onomatopeia for a frog's ribbit.
The line, "He's got guts" (ド根性の持ち主) in his Japanese description may be a reference to the manga The Gutsy Frog (ど根性ガエル).
His Japanese description calls him a geko (下戸), meaning someone who can't or doesn't like to drink alcohol. The joke is that it sounds like げこっ geko, meaning croak.
This same joke would later be used as Ribbo's Japanese namesake, Gekokku.
When he moves, he doesn't actually stay still, instead his sprite moves backwards to make it seem like he is still. This can be seen well if he is slowed. This animation trick is used on various other units that stand still for a bit before moving again, such as Kotatsu Cat.
